I have too many personal blogs. More than a dozen. Maybe way more.
I think too many is better than not enough. The question is certainly how many are enough.
“Frankly, my dear, I don’t give a damn.” <G>
It’s just a “thing” I like to do. Blab… err… Blog about what interests me. Doesn’t matter to me if no one is listening or reading. For me blogs are an electronic diary, available to the public if they care to read.
Few actually attract steady readers. I don’t post things that will set the world on fire. That is OK with me as “popular” high traffic venues attract hackers and spoilers trying to break things. Been there, experienced that. A waste of their talent on my sites, but maybe practice to becoming a web-terrorist Internet underbelly.
So, for me more blogs are better. I have never seen a posted limit. <G> I also simply enjoy the mechanics of creating a new blog with a different look or purpose.
I have created and supported a few commercial advertising websites (not blogs) for other than myself. I also had several full commercial product (storefront) websites of my own. Selling machine shop tools and one selling my hand made silver jewelry.
I have retired my commercial web design, machine tools, and jewelry websites. Now it’s all personal hobby blogging.
Most of my blogs and this one usually include links to a few others. Mostly my own and sometimes 3rd party Blogs I like. A form of self advertising whilst tying things together.
Thanks for stopping in. Click a few links and follow farther on my trail of blogs… <G>
